Problems with JS sdk, the status is not recognized

Hey
I tried to very nice tutorial, very strange, but it just does not work even if the full code. I copy from: http://thinkdiff.net/demo/newfbconnect1/jssdkouth2.html the source code and replace the one application.

So far so good. If I open a new page, I push the login button, but nothing happens. Already I have added some js console output, but not all output. If I'm connected to Facebook already, identify the new site, and show me the disconnect button. If you click it works off, now the entrance also. If you refresh the page orientation is not connected with Facebook login button will not work. You have no clue what the problem is here? Thanks in advance

GetLoginStatus () is called the page the URL canvas

Hello guys,

Strangely, but when my full Board application use container canvas, it works fine, but if I open the original page (which canvas URL points) FB. getLoginStatus () and other methods of full Board are not even called. This is normal behavior? I would like to know if the user currently logged into Facebook, no matter if my application is usually full Board or on a separate page. How can this be achieved?

A new line in the description link

Can I include a new line of the description?
At least I had no success with the \n, \r, \r\n or common html tags.
Also leading, so Facebook forced linebreak itself is impossible because the length of a line within a description link changes depending on thumbnail attached or not, and the width of the thumbnail.

So is there any way to get what the format for the description field?

Hey you. I have a Thai-language application. "Thai" is defined in the basic details, area of application. All PHP files are saved in-UTF8 documents. It works perfectly with area profiles, EN. However, there is an error API when run with th area profiles.

An error occurred when using the javascript Graph API to call entry dialog (publish dialog, skip). The error message was Thai (happened in TH area users), translated "something in error, please try again".

This is the exact code php to call the ??????? API. Please note that all variables are written in Thai, this code works perfectly on EN region profiles.

Facebook does not support.NET for chat? I always get a validation error, while trying to authorize using X-Facebook-platform. NET code. But it seems to work for applications using other languages like Python, PHP and more.

Hi, I have a Web site that is not a public site. Access is via a username and password. I do not use a login with Facebook as I want to restrict users to a small group of friends. I added the like button, but when I clicked it I got a 403 error, perhaps the application could not access the url due to requiring a password for a user name. If I dispence with the user name and password requirement, the like button is functioning as expected.
Is there a way around this.

Same for me, i tested to use php-sdk and js-sdk together, but php can't read the login-status, if you have logged in with the js-sdk. I think it's because of the Cookie-Less Method of the JS-SDK.

We really need an example from Facebook how to use both together. It must work as mentiond here:

Yes sure, an example would be great.

However, if you're able to properly authenticate a user (if facebook adds the app to user's list), then a simple PHP SDK require and a getUser call should be enough to test whether it works or not.
It's not the case for me (getUser returns 0), that's why, I repeat my question since it's not so clear in the doc:

It seems that PHP SDK 3 has been made to be JS SDK compliant.
However, there is 2 different ways to use JS SDK: with Oauth2 (oauth parameter enabled in FB.init), or without Oauth2.
My experience is that it doesn't work, no matter if I enable Oauth2 or not.

So should it work without Oauth2? Because if not, I still don't get why Facebook released a PHP SDK 3 whereas one of its main goals was to be new JS SDK compliant (and so far, new Oauth2 is just an option in JS SDK)....

Hope I'm clear...

Thanks for the reply. Yes I do that in another post in this forum asks us to replace the URL of the original full Board (full Board.XD_origin) but it didn't help. I am using Windows 7 I tried linter URL on Facebook who has not accepted unless I entered a valid domain. I have a problem with the application ID as well. For the current Web site that I am working on, they are unsure about the application ID that is currently active. We are updating the metrics but unsure about application ID. They seem to have created some applications and not sure which one is active on their site. How do we connect Facebook Developer know more about the application? Any specific email?

I have a problem with Facebook like button. Count like this
Site, such as counting the total 58. Suddenly, a few days back, I like the count has been reset.

Search this forum and got some information about linting.

I here Linter, did not create any error or warning.

You can also open graph URL as well as checked with the FQL to know Like count. But both returned me zero.

The site, I used the url only to og: specify the url.

I wonder what will be the reason behind this. Is it my fault? Am I missing something?

I'm trying to confirm my application using OAuth 2.0 for a drawing canvas. When the user first moves the application by typing http://apps.facebook.com/xxxx it hits my canvas page url, redirects the user by the following code

I tried to confirm how many apps made by other developers, and some showed "don't allow" option while another was showing "an application to leave".

Hi fox _,

You have to distinguish different flows, two, one is a server-side (approve) and the other is a client-side (entrance).

You can pass some parameters "login." which php "next" for the url to redirect the user when the application is allowed, "" when the user is not cancel_url lets the application.
If you leave the "blank" cancel_url permissions dialog box, leave the application displays a "like" Facebook does not know where the user should be redirected.

Also had this problem, but I think you already figured it.

First of all, there is currently no difference between using the following URLs for requesting permissions:

Https://graph.facebook.com/oauth/author … ct_uri = {2}
Http://www.facebook.com/dialog/oauth/?c … ct_uri = {2}

They both redirect to the same resource (-http://www.facebook.com/connect/uiserver.php)

However, there is a big difference, depending on what input for redirect_uri.

Then if redirect_uri on the same domain as your application's configuration, you will see the "disable".

If redirect_uri is not in the same domain — for example, if you use the URL of your canvas (apps.facebook.com)-then you'll see a button "quit application".

So, the bottom line is:
(1) If you want users to see the button "leave", use your URI apps.facebook.com for redirection
(2) If you want users to see the "disable", used in your domain, then redirects apps.facebook.com
